Lao Bei Fang Dumpling House is always a good comfort food stop, if you're in the mood for some delicious greasy foods. My boyfriend and I came here after a day of rock climbing and it really hit the spot. We ordered the #1 Pork & Leek Fried Dumpling (8 pieces, $4.25), #2 Pork & Leek Boiled Dumplings (8 pieces, $4.25), and #28 All-in-one House Special Hand-Pulled Noodle Soup ($8.75). Filling, good portions, and reasonably priced. Street parking is a little tricky, but it is available (metered and free). Cash only, and they call your number when your order is ready!

The dumplings are okay for what they are. Definitely larger than the dollar dumpling spots in Flushing or Chinatown. I had a spicy beef noodle soup that was all spice but no flavor. The beef, tofu, spam, veggies and noodles were overpowered by the broth. The broth was more suited for hotpot than a meal. Most of all, the tables.and general dining area is very unkempt and dirty. The food prep area by the cashier, steam / cold table was embarrassingly dirty. I don't think I would go back unless they were extremely busy or they spruce up the place. Busy because you know the dumplings are being turned over fairly quickly.and weren't sitting long.

If you’re looking for amazing & authentic hand-pulled noodles & dumplings, this is the place to be. They’re food is so delicious & really hits the spot especially on those cold winter days. I usually get an order of fried dumplings (8pc) & a beef noodle soup.

The first time I tried the food here is not very pleasant, the taste of the noodle is not for me I guess. Then when my husband want to buy again the sanitation went from A to C which is kinda odd for a restaurant not to mention the smell of the place is unpleasant.

Good food but if you are not Chinese make sure you ask what you are getting. The fresh noodles are way to long and sticky. But it's good place and authentic.
